AudioDoctor
and the software Cockpit, a webpage based server management tool which I use to manage my Ubuntu based server running Minimserver and HQPlayer 5 Embedded. They also make a ZFS tool plug in for Cockpit. Anyway, 45drives is currently in the process of making a dedicated home server machine and this is a picture of the first prototype. I think this would likely be a great option for music library storage as collections grow. relevant links: https://www.45drives.com/ https://45homelab.com/ No electron left behind. Link to comment

Cool stuff for sure. I did consider them before I decided the TrueNAS MiniXL was more than enough for my needs and easier for a noob like me to manage. TrueNAS can run on damn near anything though, even that probably. No electron left behind. Link to comment
AudioDoctor
Say you loaded this up with ultra reliable 4TB NAS drives and created one Zpool in a RAIDZ3 configuration you would have ~42TB of storage space protected against 3 simultaneous drive failures. https://wintelguy.com/zfs-calc.pl No electron left behind.
