oakjaycee
Considering replacing my 1000XM4s with a pair of Bathys or the QC Ultras. I want the best sounding wireless headphones I can get. Very happy with the 1000XM4 so am curious if either of the others are worth giving a shot. I do like the touch panel on the XM4s so might go with the QCs if they have better sound. Of course, sound is most important, so if the Bathys are far superior to both, I could be convinced to not need the touch panel. Or, if there is a better option than all three, I'm all ears... davide256
I own XM4's and have auditioned the Bathys . 1) while the Bathys sounds more natural you won't much benefit from that if using an iPhone that limits you to SBC/AAC for Bluetooth. An Android solution that supports LDAC lossless will do far better. Bose is good but you better listen to them first, would not call them "neutral" 2) Using either phone in wired mode will be far superior. I typically use the XM4's in wired mode with a dongle DAC + noise cancellation enabled, hopefully you can do same with Bathys? DuckToller 1 Regards, Dave Audio system Link to comment
Kelly
Denon bought Nura. I have the NuraTrue and are very good. Denon sells the PerL Pro which I think is the NuraTrue Pro or whatever the second generation of the NuraTrue was. It one of the few novel approaches to improving sound from inexpensive headphones I have seen. I highly recommend them.
