Melliott
Hi all, I am thinking of selling my B&W CDM1 bookshelf speakers and purchasing a pair of Wharfedale Lintons. My current B&Ws are 20 years old. Any opinions on this “upgrade”. I appreciate any feedback and look forward to hearing your take. Many thanks! Link to comment
botrytis
Totally different design philosophies. B&W tends to be more accurate, while the Lintons were designed to sound like a 'vintage' speaker with modern drivers and design specs. I would go listen before you buy. If near Northern Suburbs of Chicago more than welcome to come over for a listen to mine. I can pull them out. I currently, up in my office, have a set of speakers that were designed by the original Linton designer, Joe Ackroyd 😁 and they are not the Lintons...
