bogi
Sad news. R.I.P. Vienna is very unique progressive act and one of my most beloved albums of 80's. Particularly the opening instrumental 'Astradyne' and the passage of 3 compositions of the album B side Mr. X, Western Promise and Vienna I played countless times in 80's. I still return to this album time to time. Ultravox were always more of interest in the U.K. and Europe than in the U.S. Although Ultravox really shined only during the 1st half of 80's, they were particularly important by their influence to British music of 80's. That showed itself also in their participation on the Live Aid event in 1985, which followed the charity single Do They Know It's Christmas? written by Bob Geldof and Ultravox lead singer Midge Ure. i7 11850H + RTX A2000 Win11 HQPlayer ► Topping HS02 ► 2x iFi iSilencer ► SMSL D300 ► DIY headamp DHA1 ► HiFiMan HE-500 Link to comment
