Well known ALLO products are back again with new name but same team from India

I am really pleased that your products will become available again.

I am currently using a USBridge Signature, and wanted to understand what the Power Supply requirements are if this is available information?

Specifically what is the operational mA whilst in use. I only use if with a USB DAC, and Ether net port, using Audirvana on a MacBook to supply the music to the bridge which is running RoPiee

Thanks

Rich

Hi, advised current rating is between 2.5A to 3A , considering the power requirements for all the sections and RPI compute board.

Operational current is controlled by various LDO at each section which is around 250mA to make it low noise.

I noticed that the Kali is shown on the website, but not mentioned on your initial post here. Will it become available fairly soon? If so, will it be somewhat different from the original, if only to deal with part availabilty issues. I have enjoyed my pre-pandemic Allo products and am hoping your resumption/assumption of production, sales, and support will thrive.

RAVI, is there to be a credit card pay choice as well as PayPal in the future?

Thanks

Yes, we are having that in our agenda, will start working on it very soon.

Hello Ravi

Add me to the list of faithful enthusiasts (DigiOne, original USBridge, Signatures, Shanti AND Nirvana!) who have been praying for updated drivers. We wish you much success.

Also, a support forum on your website i believe would help regain lost consumer confidence.

The way Allo disappeared was not, IMHO,  professional.

Good Luck.

There are a few things I would love to see on the website -- such as easily accessible information on how the Shanti can power both the DigiOne Sig and the RPi. I think that info is there somewhere, but I can't find it.

Hi, I hope you are getting expected results with fresh Digione Signature board delivered to you, expecting your genuine feedback, this will help me to build it further.

I'm not sure I have the vocabulary to talk about it. It seems sort of...I don't know, cleaner than what I was using previously. I think I'll have to live with it for a while before I really can give feedback.

I am using the Shanti (5v3a to the dirty input, 5v1a to the clean), and I think that may be making a difference. In any case it's extremely convenient.

One bit of feedback I have is this: it would be nice if the DigiOne boards had a notch in them to accommodate the display cable. It's not a problem, but it would make setup a bit easier.

Hi - I used a cheap current meter in series with the supply and measured peaks of just 1.3A for a very short period and a steady state of about 500mA could that be correct. I am using Ropieee software on the USBridge

Thanks

Hello everyone, I plan on using a 2TB WD external HDD (which has my music library) connected to the Digione signature player.

I suppose the external HDD will need to be formatted to NTFS first ? I use an MacBook Air M1, is there a recommended disk partition / utility tool for this purpose?

Secondly is there a way I can stream music played via foobar2k on my Mac to the Digione Signature?

Thank you!

It should be better to format it as exFat that is a quite universal format.

You can use the Disk utility on Mac

Foobar can use UPNP protocol to use a upnp endpoint, but in this case the music must be available on Mac. To make the Digione work as a upnp endpoint you can install Ropieee, but in this configuration RoPieee will not be able to detect/use the usb connected hdd as RoPieee is just a endpoint, not a full player
