dericchan1
This past Saturday my 6 year old was wondering where his Amazon basics monitor stand was… (I needed a stand wide and tall enough to fit my sim audio preamp and the two dacs.) “Daddy will get you another one tomorrow!!” 😂 AudioDoctor 1 Link to comment
JoeWhip
I have my computer sitting on those boards and my power strip too I use my old sports books from the 60’s as risers. And keep the cabling off the floor. dericchan1 1 Link to comment

Nikhil
Ha! IKEA cutting boards are one of the best audio hacks out there. I've been using the LÄMPLIG bamboo cutting board (Article no: 203.098.28) under my sub woofer for a while now. . Bamboo is a great material, but I'm not sure if the purpose of using these bamboo boards is also to reduce vibrations. Theory predicts, and experiments confirm, that mechanical properties deteriorate in the presence of voids. Perhaps you should compare IKEA's Aptitlig with a solid bamboo board, just to be sure? Popular Post RichardSF
Bamboo isn't a good material for cutting boards anyway. May as well get them out of your kitchen and use them for your audio system. https://www.seriouseats.com/are-bamboo-cutting-boards-good-7511304 dericchan1 and AudioDoctor 1 1 Link to comment

I know of at least one speaker manufacturer who make their speaker boxes out of bamboo. https://ascendacoustics.com/ and they're nice speakers as well. No electron left behind. Link to comment
