There is a back panel selection of 115 or 230 VAC.

How are cables terminated?

The 12VDC cable is terminated with an 8 pin molex plug as is used for a motherboard EPS CPU power socket.  the 19VDC cable is terminated with a 6 pin molex plug as is used for a Taiko or a HDPlex 800W DC / DC ATX.

These are heavy gauge silver cables with the factory terminations.  If you want, you can send me different terminations and I will install them for you.

This SR7T was designed to be more than sufficient to power a Taiko DC / DC ATX board with the 19 VDC @ 10 Amps output, with a separate high current 12VDC @ 12 Amps for a direct to processor connection.

If you look at the photo of the inside of the unit, you’ll see what is no doubt the largest transformer you’ve ever seen in a LPS.  It is even much larger than the one that Taiko uses in its $27,000 Extreme Server.

l have used it with a wide range of computer servers that I have had over the years, and it has sounded superb on everything from a NUC to a Taiko DIY Extreme with two Xenon Silver CPUs on one Asus server motherboard.

As you may know, these LPSs are legendary  for their ability to provide deep powerful bass, excellent tonality through the mid and top end, and extremely clean and extended highs.  They are now quite literally “unobtanim” since Paul Hanes closed his businesses right after I bought this LPS.

The only reason that I’m selling it is that I have recently been fortunate enough to buy Nenon’s Taiko Extreme, and I have no use for it anymore.

I am an old retired audiophile who has been a long subscriber of AudiophileStyle since its inception.  I am also a long time subscriber of Audiogon and DIY audio.  My seller rating is no doubt 100% on all sites, but when I do get around to selling equipment, I usually sell it to my friends; so the number of my online sales is quite low.
