I am very very happy with the performance of the app, it is very very fast.

It would be rather nice if it would be possible to rearrange or delete complete albums in the Playing Que, when I try out new music from Qobuz and Tidal, I would like to delete the whole album from my que if I don’t like it. As I am experimenting with new speaker cables and speaker placement at the moment, I use the que to jump back and forth over days for comparisons.

I have both Qobuz and Tidal, as sometimes albums disappear/are removed from one or the other service, and I then locate it in the other Streaming Service which usually has it.

In the Lumin app I was used to clicking-and-hold on the greyed out/missing album, and then selecting it from the pop up for the other service, a similar solution would be great, maybe a Versions could pop up?

Keep up the excellent work!

when I long press on an album I get this pop up, does this do what you want?

Believe it or not, JPLAY is playing right now...

When this song ends it will; either repeat it, or stop, which will continue until I manually forward it to the next song. If it were possible to downgrade to the previous version, I would. The latest version is a mess.

We implemented a stop function by long pressing pause button. It will be available in the next build.

Hmm, there were no changes related to playback. I'd look at the player (renderer) configuration.

If you'd  like, you may send me a log file (enable logs in the app's settings, reproduce the issue and send me the log file)

Best regards,
Marcin

I will send a log after reproducing the issue as I have figured out exactly how to do so.

Thanks Marcin.

Jplay 1.0.18 can not stream Tidal to HQPlayer Embedded 5.6.2 with alarm transition error even in safe transition mode, just like HQPe 4.  Jplay 1.0.18 can stream Tidal to HQPlayer Embedded 5.5.2

I have been having a similar problem with JPLAY and Qobuz. What OS are you running Embedded on?

edit: Local files play just fine.

edit 2: I am on Ubuntu 24.04, and running the Debian Bookworm version of HQP Embedded because there is no 24.04 version of HQPE yet. I thought that was the problem and is why I had not brought it up yet. But it is curious to see someone else having a similar problem.

HQ OS or Music Arch.  I don't think this problem is related to OS as mconnect/LMS upnp bridge/BubbleuPnP never has this problem for Tidal

I just checked and you are correct, mconnect plays from Qobuz just fine. This must be a JPLAY issue.  @Marcin_gps what do you want from me that can help you find the issue and solve it? I really prefer using JPLAY.

What is the exact issue? Can you please elaborate?

Best regards,
Marcin

The issue is, when using JPLAY I can play from local files just fine to HQP Embedded, however when I try to play from Qobuz I get a spinning wheel thing where the play button is, my computers fans spin up, and then I get an error sending action to renderer, and nothing plays.

I just found hqos 5.6.2 avx2 has no problem for Tidal.  Hqos 5.6.2 sse42 has problem for tidal.  Strange

That's weird, I guess the OS and Embedded are having the issue as I am on Embedded 5.6.2 on Ubuntu and am having the issue as well.
