Popular Post kirkmc
Rightsholders - who could be labels or artists, or others who may have purchased a catalog of music - are in their rights to withdraw from sale or streaming any content at any time. This isn't new, I don't know why anyone is making a stir about it. Here's what Apple's terms and conditions for media services say, and what they all say: - Purchased Content will generally remain available for you to download, redownload, or otherwise access from Apple. Though it is unlikely, subsequent to your purchase, Content may be removed from the Services and become unavailable for further download or access from Apple (for instance, because Apple loses its right from the Content provider to make it available). To ensure your ability to continue enjoying Content, we encourage you to download all purchased Content to a device in your possession and to back it up. kirkmc
It makes me wonder if the company is going to be sold, and they’re planning for big changes and warning people. Though that’s not much warning. It’s only a week away. I write about Macs, music, and more at Kirkville. Author of Take Control of macOS Media Apps. Co-host of The Next Track podcast. Link to comment
kirkmc
Odd, Chandos shutting down their own download sales shouldn't have anything to do with what they sell on other platforms...
